Happy Birthday to You!

Yesterday we enjoyed some quality bounce time at Bounce U for Vito's birthday. The boys had a great time and Carter even took a very rare nap...guess he was all bounced out.
A very happy 4th Birthday to you, Vito! Love you buddy!!

School Update~Easter Party

Last week was Carter's last sessions of school before starting a very extended Easter Break. We also received Carter's progress evaluation. It showed that he is doing very well....I was a bit concerned but no need to worry as Carter seems to being doing just fine. Thursday was the Easter party and both the boys (especially Eli) had a grand time!

The boys get ready to enjoy a lot delicious treats. Can you say SUGAR?!?!
Doing the limbo and lovin' it!
Making the craft...a beautiful bejeweled cross.
Eli hung with the big kids in the play yard and loved the huge ark!
My little monkeys on top of the ark.
So darn cute I can't stand it. Even cuter is that he thinks he's a big kid in this picture...it's his 'check me out' look!
Hand painted Easter egg.
Homemade Easter basket.
Easter cross.
Easter Lillie's. These are Carter's hand prints that are rolled up into the flowers.
Front of Easter card. Cross cut out by Carter.
Inside of Easter card.

The Easter crafts that Carter made are so fantastic...much credit to the teachers for being able to help 14 students create such wonderful things for their parents!
Be sure to check back after the 16th of April since that is the day Carter will celebrate his birthday with his class.

My Little Puddin'

Looks yummy, doesn't it?

Walking the Path

We enjoyed our first nice long walk on the path this past weekend (about 4 miles). Carter was so happy to get out and let loose a little bit. First, I must say Carter walked the whole time...that's a lot of walking'!! He also enjoyed exploring and found railroad ties and enjoyed trekking off the path to a little stone bridge. Elijah, no longer satisfied to ride and watch all the action, did a lot of walking too!
It was so great to see green starting to pop out everywhere along the path.....the ducks seemed happy about it too and were happily quacking and flying overhead. We also saw a mommy and daddy duck nesting....which Carter thought was very cool. We can't wait until the ducklings hatch and hope to catch a glimpse of them!! It is so pleasing to watch the boys explore and enjoy nature as Brian and I love the outdoors.....what a great family day!

The Seahorse and the Shark

Carter has taken to drawing doodles lately. This is his best so far! In Carter's words..."It's a seahorse with a shark wrapped around him." Pretty awesome....nicely done!!!

Silly Boys

Carter and Elijah enjoy a little bit of horsing around with their dad.

Our Garden is Growing!

We have plants!!! One week after planting we are seeing green. Our sunflowers, zinnias, squash, zucchini, cucumbers and pumpkins are coming up. Our other tray seems to be growing a bit slow but it looks like we may see some peas and carrots in the next couple of days....be sure to check back.
