Small, Medium and Large

I love this picture of the boys with our neighbor! They are so cute and growing so fast!

Pennsylvania Farm Show

First off, I know I am a horrible blogger. To our loyal blog followers, I apologize for the lapse in updates.
Below are some pictures from the PA Farm Show in Harrisburg. The boys had a great time trying out all the readily available equipment and seeing all the livestock, not to mention the yummy food and ice cream. Carter also found an old train, which he absolutely loved! It was a great day.

Carter on the train. He was able to explore the whole engine and and spent about an hour talking to the ladies who ran the booth. They were so wonderful and patient and answered all of his questions.

Learning all about milking a cow.

I thought that this was a Long Horn and then..........
.......we saw HIM! Look at those horns, not to mention his body mass!
Best ice cream ever!
Finishing the day right where we started.....at the lawn mowers and tractors!

Carter wrote is name all by himself yesterday at school! No helping from his teachers, he just did it by himself! We have been working and working on this! Way to go , Buddy! You continue to work very hard to reach your goals and we know it isn't always easy at times. We are so VERY proud of you!

Happy New Year

Wishing all of our friends and family a fantastic 2010! May the new year bring you all peace, love, health and happiness!

Frosty

Finally! Some snow that allowed us to build a snowman! We enjoyed New Year's Eve day making this guy. Eli's favorite part was eating the M&M's that we were going to use for our guy's buttons. (You will notice that there are NO buttons) Carter waited for the longest time to see his Frosty come to life, finally he realized that we didn't have the magician's hat. He did ask that I call the magician but I explained that we didn't have his number, this answer seemed good enough and we are now waiting for the magician to find Frosty and bring the magic hat! Priceless! Fantastic winter fun!

Digging for Dinos

One of Carter's favorite gifts was a Dino Bone Kit. Santa really scored big when he left this under the tree. We have been working on extracting the bones everyday since Christmas and everyday we find a new part of the dinosaur buried inside. Please note: the safety goggles because in Carter's words, "safety comes first."

Christmas 2009

Christmas 2009 was absolutely wonderful! I think that Brian and I especially enjoyed the holiday this year since Carter really "got it"! He was so excited about every single detail of the season. My favorite moment was on Christmas morning hearing him squeal, "He came!! He came Mama! Daddy! Santa really came!" Elijah approached the holiday with his laid back attitude and really wasn't into opening his gifts but enjoyed playing with everything after the packaging was removed.
We can not thank all the "Santas" in our life enough! The boys and Brian and I were spoiled not just with gifts, but with the love of family. Thank you all so much for making our Christmas a great day! We are so blessed to have you in our lives!
