Happy New Year

Wishing all of our friends and family a fantastic 2010! May the new year bring you all peace, love, health and happiness!

Frosty

Finally! Some snow that allowed us to build a snowman! We enjoyed New Year's Eve day making this guy. Eli's favorite part was eating the M&M's that we were going to use for our guy's buttons. (You will notice that there are NO buttons) Carter waited for the longest time to see his Frosty come to life, finally he realized that we didn't have the magician's hat. He did ask that I call the magician but I explained that we didn't have his number, this answer seemed good enough and we are now waiting for the magician to find Frosty and bring the magic hat! Priceless! Fantastic winter fun!

Digging for Dinos

One of Carter's favorite gifts was a Dino Bone Kit. Santa really scored big when he left this under the tree. We have been working on extracting the bones everyday since Christmas and everyday we find a new part of the dinosaur buried inside. Please note: the safety goggles because in Carter's words, "safety comes first."

Christmas 2009

Christmas 2009 was absolutely wonderful! I think that Brian and I especially enjoyed the holiday this year since Carter really "got it"! He was so excited about every single detail of the season. My favorite moment was on Christmas morning hearing him squeal, "He came!! He came Mama! Daddy! Santa really came!" Elijah approached the holiday with his laid back attitude and really wasn't into opening his gifts but enjoyed playing with everything after the packaging was removed.
We can not thank all the "Santas" in our life enough! The boys and Brian and I were spoiled not just with gifts, but with the love of family. Thank you all so much for making our Christmas a great day! We are so blessed to have you in our lives!

Bowling Party

Carter and Elijah enjoyed their first taste of bowling at Joey's birthday party a couple of weeks ago.
Eli's feet were too tiny for bowling shoes but he gave his best shot and did fairly well (with the help of mom and dad) for a 2 1/2 year old.
Carter did well also. He did complain of being tired a few times but really perked up after picking up a spare. By the end of the game he was starting to get the concept and tried really hard for a strike.
Both boys received a pass for a free game of bowling and can't wait to go back and try again!
