Bushkill Falls

Last week Brian and I took the boys to Bushkill Falls for a 'field trip'. We left our house amid the overcast skies and cool temps, not knowing what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised to find the weather in the Poconos was sunny and warm! Carter and Eli had a great time and walked most of the path, no easy task as in spots the trail was very narrow and/or steep. Enjoy the photos of our day.

Arriving on the path. Carter lead the way on the yellow/red trail.
This was Eli's first glimpse at some rushing water. He was absolutely amazed and loved it!
Taking a break on a nice cool rock.
The falls were flowing at full force.

Daddy and Eli pose for the camera.
We took a much needed break at Lovers Nook. It was so peaceful, the only noise was the birds and the distant rush of water.

While taking a snack break we made a furry new friend. As you can imagine, the living is pretty good at the snack pavilion. He was a portly little fellow!
Brian and Carter ended the day by taking a ride on the paddle boats. Eli was too little.....

......so he sat and watched and waved like a very good boy!
