School's Officially Out For Summer!

Last Thursday was Carter's last day of school. He so enjoyed the summer session and learned so much. Both Mrs. McAtee and Miss Marie gave me excellent reports and said that he really excelled during the session. They also commented on how well he listened and followed directions.
Some of the themes the kids enjoyed were 'Under the Sea' and 'Ice Cream'. Carter also was more open to answering my questions about school and what he did during class. He also has begun to sing songs or recite The Pledge of Allegiance unsolicited.
The last huge plus was that Carter enjoyed having Mrs. Ponte and Mrs. Kavsak as teachers, as well. This is a good thing since they will be his teachers next year.
I am always extremely proud of all the boy's accomplishments but knowing how well Carter did during this session makes me particularly proud! He is growing and maturing so quickly....it is hard to believe that this next year of pre-school will be his last before kindergarten.
