School Update...the Last 2 Weeks

Both boys seem to really be into the swing of pre-school now, especially with all of the excitement of a field trip to the farm and preparing for their fall festivals and parties. The color theme has been orange in both Eli and Carter's classrooms.

Carter learned about the numbers 4 and 5 and the letters E and F. He loves school and loves nothing more than pleasing his teachers. Last Friday did prove to be a bit of a challenge for him and he had a meltdown during class, but Mrs. Kavcsak reassured me that he is doing well and making improvements with every single class. So we chug along and try not to worry too much about him, which is impossible but I am trying to chill out. Carter also learned about the following bible stories, Samuel and David & Jonathan.
Below is Carter's art work from the past two weeks including a sunflower which was up on display. My favorite are his skeleton (since making it, he has become obsessed with skeletons) and his arm bone!

On to Elijah.... He is doing so well and seems to really like school. Mrs. McAtee tells me that he is trying to really talk and will try to repeat or say any word that they ask of him. This is HUGE and I am so thankful that Mrs. McAtee and Mrs. Ponte are so willing to encourage him to talk and communicate more. Eli also learned all about the square and his bible stories were Jacob takes care of Joseph and Baby Moses.
Below is Elijah's artwork including a cow and dalmatian that were up on display. My favorites are definitely the spiders, especially his hand print spider!

On Wednesday Eli celebrates his Fall festival and on Friday is Carter's fall festival...look for some fun photos!
