School Update

I do not have any artwork to display this week as all crafts that were made this past Tuesday and Thursday are decorating Carter's classroom.

The theme this week was spiders and Carter made a very cute spider using his hand prints and lots of glitter! The spiders look adorable lining the hallway to class. Carter and I had a great time finding his spider and he was proud to show it off.

The color was yellow and the shape was a square. Yes....a Spongebob Squarepants was the other craft for this week. Carter's Spongebob hangs from the classroom's ceiling along with the other children's.

The religion theme was Jacob takes care of Joseph. The children also participated in chapel, something Carter particularly enjoys.

We had open house this past Thursday. Brian enjoyed seeing Carter's classroom and Carter loved showing his Dad everything. (i.e. potty, sink, his cubby and favorite toys) Mrs. McAtee was very complimentary on how far Carter has come since last September and commented that he has really calmed down and is following directions well. Pastor also told me how much he enjoys Carter. We met some new parents and children from different classes and had fun with Jacob and Maci and their families.

We are looking forward to the coming weeks. We have a field trip to the farm, picture day and a Halloween Party! Fun Stuff and I can't wait to share it all with Carter!
